Since graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Thompson Rivers University in 2008, I have been fortunate, as a member of Kamloops Printmakers, to be able to develop my art practice in contemporary print media. I was attracted to printmaking initially because it seemed to be a natural step from my early interest in drawing from nature and much of my work centres around the natural world and my relationship with shape and form. I am passionate about the etching process and the medium forces me to slow down and really engage with the image I am creating.
